About Sabine den Hartogh, PhD

I am an independent thinker with a strong technical background and broad interest in the sector of life sciences and healthcare.

Intrigued by novel innovations that can break through existing barriers and change status quo. Strong believer of the revolutionary impact of artificial intelligence in life sciences and health innovations, benefiting both humanity and planetary health.

In my PhD research I established a novel stem-cell based culture model to allow studying and unravelling key genomic pathways in human embryonic heart development, aiming to unlock cues for cardiac regeneration as therapeutic approach for myocardial infarction-induced heart failure.

Over the last decade, I have spent time in pharmaceutical R&D start-ups and corporate environments, including a CDMO and investment banking.
